Cllr Diane Ellison

Diane represents the Oakham South ward and was elected in May 2023. She is the executive portfolio holder for Adult Care and Health.

Having only moved to Oakham three years ago, Diane has been a frequent visitor for the past 30 years. She previously worked as a Specialist Cardiothoracic Nurse and Senior Hospital Manager but now teaches undergraduate and postgraduate Business, Management and Healthcare in Birmingham. She is a keen traveller and is a vociferous reader.

Her interests are the economic development of both Rutland and Oakham and the health and wellbeing of its residents.
